Newly Engaged Willa Ford Didn't Date Dancing Partner

Former Dancing with the Stars contestant Willa Ford knows that her engagement to Dallas Stars hockey player Mike Modano will come as a surprise to many fans, who believed she was having a romance
with her professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, she tells PEOPLE.
"Maks and I were definitely close and we
still are, but I kept saying that it's going to be a shocker to everybody when they find out (I'm engaged to Mike,)" Ford
says. "Every week I told people the truth – we were close, we hung out – but the show loved to fuel the relationship."
In fact, Ford, 25, and Modano, 36, have been "on and off for about four and a half years." The couple got engaged
over the Thanksgiving weekend in Dallas, where Modano gave Ford a classic, round cut solitaire diamond.
As for Chmerkovskiy: "We do have chemistry and it was easy for the show to go into that,"
says Ford, who called Chmerkovskiy to tell him about her engagement personally. "He said, 'you know I'm happy for you. I support
you.' So everyone should know that Maks is okay! We'll stay friends and we'll still hang out."
Dancing fans
planning to see Ford and Chmerkovskiy on tour later this month, however, will be disappointed, as both have pulled out of
the lineup.
"I decided, prior to the tour rehearsals starting, to pull out of the tour for personal reasons that I
wish I could reveal, but I can't," Chmerkovskiy tells PEOPLE. "There are no health issues, my health is fine. But I decided
it was not right for me."
Ford then followed Chmerkovski's lead, as she's done so many times on the dance floor, and
pulled out of the tour as well. "I didn't want to dance with a new partner," Ford says. "The fans wanted to see Willa and
Maks dance together, not just whoever they gave me."
To clear up any misconceptions about his reason's for dropping
out of the tour, Chmerkovskiy says, "People will try to tie Willa's engagement and my pulling out of the tour together and
they are not related at all. I hope that Willa will be happy with Mike."
As for wedding plans, Ford says the nuptials
will happen when Modano's team is in the off-season – and after she finishes her album. "It will either be this summer
or next summer," Ford says. "I'm really one of those old-fashioned Southern girls who wants to get married, have a little
time as newlyweds and then have babies."

Willa Ford doesn't wanna be bad anymore—she wants to be married.
The pop star confirmed to E! News' Samantha Harris that she had accepted a proposal from Dallas Stars player Mike
Modano, her on-again, off-again boyfriend of more than four years.
Ford, 25, showed off her diamond sparkler at the Arby's Action Sports Awards in Los Angeles Thursday, where she
told Access Hollywood that Modano, 36, popped the question in bed.
"We were out to dinner the other night, and I think he had [the ring] with him the entire night," she said.
"He was really nervous. Then, right before we went to sleep, he asked me, and I said yes."
The proposal comes on the heels of reports that Ford was romantically involved with her Dancing with the Stars
partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
"Everybody thought it was going to be Maks!" Ford said to Extra of her engagement.
The duo was eliminated from Dancing in October after the fifth week of competition. Shortly thereafter, Ford said
in an ABC interview that they were "not an official couple," while Chmerkovskiy posted on his Website that they were "very
close friends."
"I really like her, and we are having a great time together. If you don't mind, I would like to leave it at
that," Chmerkovskiy wrote.
The fleet-footed twosome was due to reunite for the Dancing with the Stars tour later this month, but Chmerkovskiy
was forced to pull out for personal reasons, and Ford opted not to participate without him.
Instead, the singer is preparing to head into the studio to work on her next album, which is due out next summer.
She and Modano plan to wed at the conclusion of his hockey season.

BALLROOM BANTER- It's true! The chemistry between Willa Ford and Maksim Chmerkovsky isn't made for TV. Sources
confirm a budding romance to Scoop. Says Ford: "We work hard, we fight, then we go out and have dinner!" Her partner adds,
"We're having a great time."
My take: NO WAY! If anything I think Maksim is a homosexual (and I'm not meaning that
to be insulting). I think this is another example of a magazine making something out of nothing. But hey, any press is good.
I'm still not sure on Willa's stance with Chuck and Mike. A few shows ago Chuck Liddell was spotted sitting with a "Vote for
Willa or Die" t-shirt, but when people interview Mike Modano they refer to Willa as his "girlfriend." I guess only time will
tell.
05/28/06- Are They or Aren't They?:
Willa and Chuck are constantly seen together, which makes me think that either
they broke up and got back together, or I heard wrong on the Mancow show. HOWEVER, this article makes me wonder....

Willa To Do Poker Reality Show April 15th:

For those of us who don't have enough poker to watch on television, mark your calendars on April 15th for the debut of
BoDog founder Calvin Ayre's poker show on the Fox Sports Network. 'Calvin Ayre's Wild Card Poker', which was filmed
last month at the "Compound" (actually Calvin Ayre's private residence), will bring together forty people to participate in
a poker tournament amid the lush surroundings of the Caribbean. They also were able to enjoy their stay in the tropical paradise
as well, with several parties and other gatherings that were all captured on film as a part of the six episode series. "We
initially set out to create a poker and entertainment show that would offer television viewers a glimpse into the
'Play Hard' lifestyle," said Mr. Ayre. "What we got was a television show entirely unlike any show you could imagine.
With unexpected twists and turns, including some of the intimate moments captured by the cameras, the millions of viewers
tuning in each week will see a fantastic show with a lot of tense scenes at the poker table." The site's players became
a part of the show, as twenty members were chosen during a contest held on the site. The prize for winning the tournament
could be potentially large for one of these twenty, as the tournament offered up a $500,000 grand prize to the winner. It
will not be an easy trek for any of these players to capture the bounty, however. Also along for the fun at the Compound
were several celebrities who will present some serious challenges for the the sites members. UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion
Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, actors Cheryl Hines (a prominent participant on "Celebrity Poker Showdown" known for her work
on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm"), Willie Garson ("Sex And The City") and Josh Malina ("The West Wing") and musicians Willa
Ford and SR-71's Mitch Allen led the contingent of celebrities to the tables. The real threat, however, could be the professional
poker players amassed to face off during "Calvin Ayre's Wild Card Poker." Newest team member Evelyn Ng joins the current
crop of Team BoDog for the event in Costa Rica. Also featured in the play of the poker are her fellow mates Jennifer Tilly,
Phil "The Unabomber" Laak, David Williams, Josh Arieh, Jean Gluck, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and his wife, Lily, Humberto
Brenes and Erick Lindgren. To add even further to the drama, an unknown "Wild Card" player will enter into the final table
during the conclusion of the series, which will be shown on May 20th. Overall, it should be an interesting six week
journey into the world of high stakes poker and living the high life of a billionaire. "Calvin Ayre's Wild Card Poker" promises
some twists and turns along the way and it could be worth some time to check it out when it debuts on the Fox Sports Network
from 11PM-1AM on April 15th (be sure to check your local FSN affiliate for exact times).

next poker star -- and he will do it with the help of FSN (Fox Sports Net) plus numerous celebrity players and top poker pros.
Mr. Ayre will host the six-episode reality show that will be taped this week at the luxurious Bodog Compound
in Costa Rica. The co-host for the "Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker" show will be the 2003 Miss World Canada and Bodog Music artist,
Nazanin. The episodes will air weekly on Saturdays from 11:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. EST, beginning April 15, 2006.
"We are on a mission to find the next poker star and eager to showcase the Play Hard aspects of the Bodog.net
lifestyle," says Mr. Ayre, the billionaire gaming tycoon and the face of the lucrative online gambling industry. "Poker and
television -- combined with Bodog-style entertainment -- will make for one heck of a show, and our next step into the world
of television."
The series will detail the journey of 40 individuals -- celebrities, poker professionals and Bodog.net poker
players -- who intend to use their card-playing skills to capture the US $500,000 grand prize. Each episode will feature a
poker game, with each winner taking US $50,000, and securing a spot at the sixth and final table for a chance to win the half-million-dollar

the tables. Other pros will include the Team Bodog "Rat Pack" of David Williams and Evelyn Ng, plus, Josh Arieh, Jean Gluck,

Starring alongside the pros and celebrities in the series will be 20 reality-show hopefuls who have won the

Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter's ex-girlfriend Willa Ford avoided a Las Vegas, Nevada, nightclub fight with Paris Hilton
by warning the heiress' handlers that her best friend is ultimate fighting champion Chuck Liddell.
Ford, who dated Carter years before Hilton fell for the pop star in 2004, was unnerved when Hilton made a point of prowling
in front of her booth at the Hard Rock Hotel - and decided to take action before The Simple Life star said something she'd
later regret.
Ford, a former singer-turned-Ultimate Fighting personality, recalls, "We were sitting in a private booth and Paris wouldn't
stop walking back and forth in front of us. | "Chuck went over to her security guards and said,
'Listen, you see all those guys over there? We're with Willa Ford. If Paris comes closer and Willa snaps, I can't help anything.
If you get in there and you touch Willa, we're all throwing down on you guys.'"
Hilton kept her distance and reportedly apologised to Ford when the two girls met at Playboy Mansion Hallowe'en Party last
year (05).

Sexy pop songstress Willa Ford, who's hit song "I Wanna Be Bad," was a radio mainstay, bares all in a six-page
nude pictorial in Playboy's annual March "Sex and Music" issue, which hits newsstands today. (Feb. 10)
Not long after
her debut album Willa Was Here became a hit, the then 20-year-old singer decided to put her music career on hold. "Music became
this corporate world where you have to compromise everything, and I'm uncontrollable," she says. "I was recording in New York,
and I got in a cab, called home and said, 'I'm finished. I’m not doing this anymore.' I mean, I had so much more fun
taking my clothes off for Playboy than I ever had sitting in a studio writing a song."
Recently Willa focused on her
television career and hosted the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Additional television credits include featured spots

Who Is Willa's New Guy?
As her fans already know, Willa has a habit of inciting jealosy from many adolescent (and obviously VERY immature)
girls. And it's no wonder. It's not enough she is stunningly beautiful, has legions of fans, and is multi-talented. No. Though
most famose for stirring up massive hatred (and filthy, UNTRUE rumors) by dating Backstreet "pretty boy" Nick Carter, she
has never stayed single for long. Learning from her past mistake in making public her relationship with Nick, she has kept
her other boyfriends VERY hush-hush, until now. After Nick there was the amazing dancer/choreographer bad boy Chris Jones,
then a famose Florida athlete (whom we are still in the dark about). But now her current squeeze is the very handsome (and
much older) Chuck Liddell, exciting considerable anger from some very bitchy (and in some cases, TERRIBLY skanky) wanna-be
Liddell groupies. But Willa's had the last laugh. After his AMAZING victory against champ Randy Coutour, they were photographed

this whole mixed martial arts thing was just kind of exciting for me to kinda learn and I get to train a little bit with the
guys, so watch out!

with MTV and VH1 and Spike TV was an affiliated company of Viacom so they were throwing different hosts around and somebody
our fans will take seriously and will get into the sport and the main problem is a lot of the girls don’t have the ???
behind it, they are cute but seh sounds like an idiot while she interviews these Martial Artists. They called me into a meeting
and asked if I’d seen UFC, and technically I watched it once as I work to much. I said hey, I’ll take it on to
really get into the sport and know everybody and everything and I did, so basically they interviewed some people, some names,
and they ended up going with me, why? I’m not sure.
Her role on teh show - I’m the host and throughout
the show, I have to keep a very ???? level with everybody. I’m the informer. I say listen this is what you’re
gonna do, this is how it will happen if you do’nt like it, sorry. It’s my job to be a hard nose with these guys....As
far as the contestants....I really not until the end of the show did I have any conversations and hangout time with teh guys...before
that I wasn’t allowed to....it was difficult...to be in the hole show and not able to be social with the guys because
that’s my personality, to hang out and goof off with a bunch of guys. I kinda got in trouble for that in the beginning.

This is boring and I’m not going to recap it. *L* I
will start typing again when she talks about music. In general, she talks about how she likes the sport, athletes and speaks
positively about the show and the Mixed Martial Arts in general. She sounds postivie and up beat, well spoken. She did her
research for this show and about the sport both before hand and by asking the guys themselves about the moves, and what goes
on behind the scenes.
At one point she refers to herself as “cute singer girl”.
The DJ talks
about how the fans originally were not impressed with Willa being the host as they thought she knew nothing about the sport.
But that is not hte case. She hopes she can bring this to the Mainstreem...she’s been working with MTV for this, to
get the guys on the show, to get the guys on Spring Break, I think she said “for my show”...will she be hosting
Spring Break??

Honestly, the truth coming from Willa Ford righ tnow. I didn’t expect
to have as much fun as I di don this show, I have never done a full on TV show for lockdown 8 week period, ....I’ve
decided to take a hiatus for a while because Music was getting really stressful for me, people were trying to get me to do
one thing and I was unhappy, I said screw it, I was having more FUN doing the other and getting more WORK doing the other
so I’m working on a TV and film deal AND MY MUSIC ON THE SIDE. I WILL pop my head back INTO THE SCENE WHEN I FEEL LIKE
IT. .

LAS VEGAS –
The Ultimate Fighting Championship® and Spike TV® have assembled 16 athletes from across North America to determine who has
what it takes to earn a UFC contract in The Ultimate Fighter™, a new and exciting reality-based television series. The
original series, hosted by top recording artist and model Willa Ford, premieres
on Monday, Jan. 17 at 11 p.m. (check local listings) following WWE Monday Night Raw and runs for 15 exciting episodes, including
a LIVE event. Craig Piligian (co-executive producer of Survivor I, II and III) serves as co-executive producer. New
episodes premiere Mondays with encore presentations on Fridays (midnight-1 a.m. EST/PST), on Saturdays (7 p.m. EST/PST) and
on Sundays (5 p.m. EST/PST). Competitors in The Ultimate Fighter are not voted off the island, fired by a CEO, or eliminated
in a rosy ceremony. Instead, the ones sent home are those who lose in the Octagon® or are sent packing by their coach. “Sixty-year-old
Sylvester Stallone may be looking for a contender, but the UFC is looking for a champion,” boasts Dana White, UFC President.
“The Ultimate Fighter goes behind the scenes to see what it takes when 16 hard-core guys from around the country live,
train, and fight together – all with one ultimate goal.” Viewers will be able to follow the 16 fighters
as they train, workout and live together. At the end of each week, one fighter from each of the two teams must fight in the
Octagon® until only two remain in each of the two weight divisions. In the end, The Ultimate Fighter will be decided by a
competition match -- a head-to-head fight inside the Octagon – LIVE on Spike TV. The competitors are all accomplished
athletes, disciplined in the sport of mixed martial arts which combines boxing, wrestling, judo, karate, kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu.
For seven weeks during taping, the competitors were under the strict supervision of two of the most successful and well-known
UFC fighters and trainers: UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture and UFC Light Heavyweight #1 Contender Chuck Liddell. In each episode, the competitors also will compete in team “Challenges” designed to push the fighters
to the edge of their physical and mental capabilities. The challenges revolve around old-school training techniques, physical
stamina and mental strategy. The team that wins the challenge controls which combatants must fight and face elimination. The
Ultimate Fighter was taped in Las Vegas at the UFC Training Center™ under the supervision of Piligian, the show’s
creator and co-executive producer. Piligian, from Pilgrim Films and Television, also is known for his work on American Chopper,
American Hot Rod and American Casino. Robert Riesenberg (executive producer of NBC's The Restaurant) of Full Circle
Entertainment also serves as co-executive producer. Riesenberg is president and CEO of Full Circle Entertainment, a New York
Company. Full Circle Entertainment is an independent production company specializing in developing and producing programming

Willa Ford To Host UFC - 01/17/05
Sixteen men from
across the Americas travel to Las Vegas with one dream, one goal - to become The Ultimate Fighter(tm).
Determination.
Discipline. Excellence.
These young men are accomplished athletes, disciplined in wide range of mixed martial arts
that include wrestling, boxing, judo, Jiu-Jitsu, karate and kickboxing. Each has the dream, the hope, and the will to fight
in an Ultimate Fighting Championship(r) event. Only one fighter from each of the two weight classes will succeed with the
challenge.
During the show the competitors will take their training to a higher level. They will be brought to Las
Vegas where the UFC(r) brand has its National Training Center. For the next seven weeks the competitors will be under the
strict supervision of two of the most successful and famous UFC(r) fighters and trainers on the planet, UFC Light Heavyweight
Champion Randy Couture and UFC Light Heavyweight #1 Contender Chuck Liddell.
The competitors will endure the most
grueling training and intense pressure of their lives. They will train together, live together, and fight against each other
inside and outside of the storied UFC Octagon. The men are split into two teams, Team Liddell and Team Couture. The two squads
compete against each other within their weight classes to avoid elimination.
In each episode, the competitors will
also compete in a "Challenge." The Challenges are designed to push the fighters to the edge of their physical and mental capabilities.
